I liked the layed back atmosphere in the classroom that enabled us to learn in a progressive manner. The blogging was my favorite activity because we were able to gain new insight about various current topics in our society. The evil comments after i score a 144 though hurt my feelings. I believe test are not a good indicator of knowledge in psychology instead you should have us write a paper to determine our understanding of the topics. For AP Eco i think you should give real life application of the topics you discuss to make it pratical for the students.
It has been a great year and I really advanced in your class.

Laid back atmosphere kept me awake everyday. And because of psychology, we are living proof that we do judge people and throw out any extra info. In this case, you scoring higher than everyone in the class on that IQ exam was thrown out based on our impression of your loud nature during class ;) Fun class!
I agree with Alice and Steven and you! The way the class was laid back made it easier to learn and participate in class.

I agree with you mostly. The layed back atmosphere helped reduce a lot of the stress and made it easier to learn all the material we had to cram. You're right about the IQ test; it was just one test, and thus not a completely accurate indicator of knowledge, and it caused a whole host of bad feelings around the class. I also like your suggestion about AP Eco; real world applications, especially in our current economic climate, would help us understand better. However, I do not agree with your suggestion that papers should be used to determine our understanding of topics. It just seems like excessive work.
